Information: 

Join South Tahoe Public Utility District for a FREE 60 minute tour of our wastewater treatment plant. Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis and can accommodate up to 20 people. You will be notified if you are placed on the wait list. Please review the tour guidelines and procedures:

• This in-person tour is led by a District staff member at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and is approximately 60 minutes.
• Tour attendees must be 18 or older; children age 10 and older can take the tour if accompanied by an adult.
• Tour attendees are required to wear closed-toes walking shoes.
• Safety is the District’s top priority, as the treatment plant is an active, fully operational plant with heavy truck traffic. This tour involves walking up and down narrow stairways, walking over uneven ground, and potentially being exposed to strong odors.
• Signed waivers are required. Fill out the waiver here.
