Hot Water Circulating Pump
Hot water supply in a home is transported from the water heater to sink and baths throughout the house. When you turn on the hot water faucet in a home without a re-circulating pump, all of the water sitting in the line has to pass through before the hot water arrives, therefore wasting gallons of water. Running a return line from the last tap on the hot water supply back to the water heater and a circulating pump, hot water is circulated back to the water heater and is ready on demand.

Installing a hot water recirculating pump can save about 8,000 gallons of water a year.
